Multiply Your Ministry

If the church is not intentional about disciplining its members, others will.

Multiply: A Fully Funded Pilot to Move Sermons Into Action

Overview of Multiply

Multiply helps churches turn sermons into interactive discipleship experiences that keep members engaged beyond Sunday.

Through the generosity of churches that have chosen to pay it forward, Multiply is launching a pilot program for three churches.

This initiative takes the burden off pastors by transforming sermons into structured, measurable discipleship journeys that guide members from hearing to applying.

How It Works (4 Simple Steps)

1️⃣ Choose a Sermon – Select a recent sermon you want to extend.
2️⃣ Multiply Transforms It – We create an interactive discipleship experience (reflection prompts, action steps, discussion guides).
3️⃣ We Share It – Members engage with the content through small groups, online communities, or personal reflection.
4️⃣ Discipleship Becomes Measurable – Multiply tracks engagement so faith steps can be celebrated and reinforced.

Expectations for Multiply Pilot Program Participants

Churches participating in the Multiply Pilot Program receive a fully funded opportunity to transform sermons into interactive discipleship experiences. To ensure the success of this pilot, participating churches will engage a small launch team to help shape the experience before opening it to the wider congregation.

1️⃣ Provide a Recent Sermon (Video Only) for Multiply to Transform

  • Submit one sermon in video format (YouTube, Vimeo, church website, or raw video file).
  • Sermon submission is required within 2 weeks of being accepted into the program.

2️⃣ Form a Launch Team (5-8 Members)

  • Each pilot church will engage a group of 5-8 congregation members in two interactive courses over three months.
  • The launch team will actively engage in Multiply’s discipleship experience, completing interactive challenges, prompts, and reflections.
  • Their feedback will shape the experience before it is introduced to the wider congregation.

3️⃣ Engage in Two Interactive Courses Over Three Months

  • The launch team will complete two structured Multiply discipleship courses based on sermon themes.
  • Members will interact with the content, respond to prompts, and engage in faith-in-action challenges.
  • Small group and leadership teams will observe engagement and prepare for full-church rollout.

4️⃣ Participate in Check-Ins & Provide Feedback

  • Short check-ins (15-20 minutes) every two weeks to assess engagement, gather insights, and make adjustments.
  • Share what’s working, what’s missing, and what improvements would make Multiply more effective.
  • Complete a brief post-pilot survey at the end of the program.

5️⃣ Consider Paying It Forward (Optional, but Encouraged)

  • Once your church has experienced the impact of Multiply, consider nominating another church to receive this opportunity.
  • Share a short testimony or key insights that can encourage other churches exploring Multiply.
  • Help Multiply grow as a movement where churches disciple churches.

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes Multiply different from sermon study guides?

Unlike static sermon notes or study guides, Multiply creates interactive, structured learning experiences incorporating videos, reflection questions, and small group discussions to drive weekly engagement. For example, a sermon on forgiveness could be broken into:

- Reflection Questions: "Who in your life do you need to forgive?"

- Action Steps: "Write a letter of forgiveness to someone, even if you don’t send it."

- Group Discussion: "How has forgiveness changed your life?" These elements encourage ongoing application and transformation.

How long does it take to get started?

Once a church provides a sermon, we can launch within 2-4 weeks.

Will we need to transition to a paid model in the future?

You are not obligated to continue. The free version covers everything you need. However, premium services may be available for churches that want deeper customization. If your church sees value, we can discuss additional options for long-term discipleship solutions.

Who should be involved in our church to ensure a smooth implementation?

  • Typically, pastors, small group leaders, discipleship directors, and online pastors help facilitate Multiply.

  • Is this a software platform, or is it a set of resources that we implement ourselves?

Multiply is not a software platform; it’s a fully managed service. We handle the heavy lifting, converting your sermons into structured, engaging discipleship journeys using tools your church is likely already familiar with (YouTube, PDFs, group chats, etc.). We also handle content creation so pastors and leaders can focus on shepherding their people.

Can this be used for both in-person and online members?

Yes! Multiply works for hybrid churches, supporting both small groups and online communities.

Can we test this with a small group before rolling it out church-wide?

Yes! We recommend starting with small groups first. This team will influence the look and feel of Multiply within your church culture.

Are there any concerns about intellectual property regarding our sermons?

No, your sermons remain your intellectual property—we simply structure them into discipleship experiences.
