We’re living in a moment when we’re called to lead. This pandemic has created an opportunity where you and I can influence the next generation to be the best one yet. The next generation can be the most resilient or the most fearful one. But they can’t be both and they can’t be anything in between.
However as we anticipate how the next generation will think and behave, it forces us to conclude that we’re living in a moment when we’re called to lead. By choosing to lead, we help ensure that Generation Z will be better than every generation that came before.
The best way to serve a generation of makers, doers, and builders, is through entrepreneurship. I believe entrepreneurs can solve many of the world’s biggest problems. This mindset of innovation, imagination and instinct has brought us this far. However, if we’re not careful to cultivate it in the next generation, we will look up one day at faces that have grown content to die with their dreams.
It's for this reason I'm dedicated to helping the next generation use entrepreneurship to create more options and philanthropy to solve our nation's most challenging problems. While our students may not solve food insecurity, cure diseases, mitigate climate change or achieve interplanetary travel, they will have the mindset and skills to know it's possible.

Three of my favorite things in life are being the husband to my beautiful bride of 13 years. The father of three talents children who never back down from a freestyle or dance battle. Lastly, spending quality time in our fruit and vegetable garden.
