Raising a responsible adult is the hardest job you'll ever have.

Get connected to right people at the right time, in less time.
If you get the sense that it's way harder to make friends as an adult than it was when you were younger, you're on to something.

The difficulty isn't that you're uncool or awkward. It's that the essential building blocks are harder to come by when you're an adult with kids. Values shift, people move, and scheduling time to connect seems almost difficult. Adults with jobs, kids, and a collection of other responsibilities also simply have less time available for making friends. And research shows making a casual friend takes 50 hours on average, while close friendships take 200 hours.

The Good News
Sociologists found that when we develop groups, our friendships are more sustainable than they are with individuals. But where are you going to find a spare two hours as a busy parent or professional, never mind 200?

Welcome to Sixteen Summers
We put in the time to connect you with the right people at the right time in less time.

Sixteen Summers gives qualified applicants access to a private community that celebrates every season of parenting and the satisfaction of knowing you're not alone. Like a mastermind group, Sixteen Summers provides you with a handcrafted community who will elevate your focus and energize you to go after your betterment goals.

Two Communities in One
The community consists of the larger private community which focused on celebrating who you are and who you're becoming.

The Private Community
We believe every day is a good to celebrate. Many of us have limiting beliefs about ourselves in at least one area of our lives, which results in a decrease in confidence. If you are constantly doing and not being, you will miss out on all the beautiful moments in life. Oftentimes, we take life too seriously and we become so attached to the final outcome that we forget to enjoy the journey. Let's celebrate who you are and who you're becoming.

The Inner Circle
You may notice that your friendships change from year-to-year — the best friend you had last year may not even be in your inner circle anymore. It happens more often than you may think, and studies have been done that prove the theory that the older you get, the fewer friends you have. "Sociologists have kind of identified the ingredients that need to be in place for us to make friends organically, and they are continuous unplanned interaction and shared vulnerability," University of Maryland psychologist Marisa Franco told Boston's NPR news station, WBUR.  "As we become adults, we have less and less environments where those ingredients are at play."

Your Inner Circle consists of seven members who focus on feeling supported, significant, competent and confident about the future. Each Circle shares common ingredients that create the optimal environment to grow: marital status, family size, age of children, parenting outcomes, tax bracket, education, music, values, and life stage. Other ingredients like personality types and life experiences are less common.

✅ Parenting Present
Who knew parenting was such a balancing act. Few know how to juggle finding socks, schedules and naptime like parents. This pattern explores the world of a child who grew up and now cares for a someone who's not a grown up.

✅ Parenting Future
It may be harder to believe it but one day you'll be a grandparent.  A parent of an adult who cares for a child. In this step your imagination is stretched to look around corners to see the outcomes of the past and shape the outcomes of the future.
